MICROCOMM's
Single Industrial Parameter General Purpose
Meter/ Logger/ Recorder series
MI-1490-GPM are
state-of-the-art systems, based
on a well proven mil-grade General Purpose Sensor.
The General Purpose Sensor is based on a PT1000
sensing element. The sensor is designed
to operate in a harsh environments including
that for marine and defence applications.
It can work in extremes of weather conditions
and has a specially designed radiation
screen to protect it from direct sunlight.
It is also protected against ingress of
moisture, dust and smoke. The sensor data
is conditioned according to its calibration
coefficients to give an output on the
Display or to the Data Logger or to the
Display-Printer Paper Recorder.
The
systems are offered in three standard
versions as under :
General Purpose
Meter :General Purpose
Sensor with Display Unit:
The
General Purpose Sensor is attached to a microprocessor
based Display Unit which has an LCD graphics
display built-in. Instant General Purpose data
is displayed on the LCD screen in 2 modes,
ie Graph & Bar. The Display Unit has
a 4x6 keypad to set up the unit and a
slot for Microcomm's standard plug-in
Memory Modules. Serial Port Output is
provided on the Display along with a data
port for plugging in a choice of Telemetry
options.
General Purpose
Logger :General Purpose
Sensor with Auto Data Logger:
Uses
the standard Microcomm Data Logger with
the General Purpose Sensor in this configuration.
The Data Logger has a built-in 2x16 VFD
display and a 4x6 keypad to set up the
unit and display instant data. Plug-in
Memory Modules is a standard feature along
with optional GPS Receiver which tags
the location parameters to the datasets
besides setting up the RTC periodically.
It has a provision for two simultaneous
Telemetry Modules from the choice of options
available in the Microcomm range and a
standard Serial RS232C or 422 Port.
General Purpose
Graph :General Purpose Sensor with Display / Hardcopy
Printer:
The
General Purpose Sensor is attached to a microprocessor
based Display Unit which outputs data
continuously to a hardcopy Printer attached
to it. The Display Unit has an LCD graphics
display built-in. Instant General Purpose data
is displayed on the LCD screen in 2 modes,
ie Graph & Bar. The Display Unit has
a 4x6 keypad to set up the unit and a
slot for Microcomm's standard plug-in
Memory Modules. Serial Port Output links
the Display to the hardcopy Printer for
continuous charts. Telemetry options can
be used in this configuration by connecting
them to the Display Unit.
Special
Systems can also be configured according
to user requirements |
